FAQs
Q: Did you always want to be an author?

No! I was a reader for as long as I can remember, and I loved conjuring up stories and scenarios in my head, but I'd never taken writing seriously until I went to college. I hated my major and couldn't imagine working in a field I didn't like for the rest of my life, so I decided to write my own book, and well, it picked up from there.

Q: How do you come up with your stories?

I don't have a particular method. My stories come to me, how they come to me. Usually, I just need to blast some music and I'll get about ten different ideas. Coming up with plots is not hard sticking to them is.

Q: What inspired you to become a writer?

My main goal when I started writing was to bring real and raw characters to life. What do I mean by that? Characters that get angry, jealous, bitter, and say the wrong things at the wrong time. Flawed characters with a good heart that you can't help but relate to.

Q: What order should I read the City of Stars series?

You can read them in any order. However, since they are interconnected standalones, for a full reading experience, I recommend starting with Kiss of War, then Vow of Hell, Lick of Fire, and finishing with Sting of Ice.

Q: Do you have any writing advice?

All you need is some motivation and discipline. Sit down and write even when you don't feel like it, even when you think what you're writing is bad. You can always go back and edit it later. The more you write, the more experience you gain.
